Catholic Confession. Greek, seventeenth century

'(inscription on fo. 2r). Presumably this is the confession required from those attending Gregory XIII's Greek College at Rome.

190x133 mm. 48 fos (1, 9, 11, 22-end blank) (modern foliation). 'Tobias Goodwin' (seventeenth century) thrice on fo. 47v: Goodwin has not been identified. Presented by Peter Gunning (1614-84), of St John's College, Bishop of Ely, 1684 (plate inside front cover). College bookplate (eighteenth century) at fo. 2r.

Single hand (seventeenth century), a clean copy. Paper. Original limp vellum binding, defective at the edges.
