St John’s College is looking to appoint a HR Co-ordinator to provide administrative support to the HR team. This is a maternity cover contract offered for a period of twelve months and the post-holder will ideally start at the end of June.
Responsibilities in the role include maintaining staff records, preparing and distributing information for recruitment and selection, assisting with absence management procedures, administering the HR database, answering queries and providing support to the team as required. The post-holder will also assist with HR-related projects.
To be considered for the role, you will need to be a good communicator with excellent administrative and organisation skills. You will also need to be highly proficient in the use of IT, including MS Office packages, and will have the ability to work quickly and accurately using your own initiative. Good interpersonal skills are also essential. Previous experience of working in HR and in the use of HR database software would be advantageous, however training will be provided.
