  1. From murderers to pickpockets, highwaymen to witches, petty theft to high treason – the crimes of Early Modern Britain were as diverse as the men and women who committed them. Using materials from our Special Collections, we explore the lives of notorious law-breakers of the 16th to 18th centuries, examine the justice system which determined their punishments, and discover their final, frightful fates.

  5. The Open Days on 5th & 6th July coincide with the University of Cambridge Open Days. St John's College will be open 10am-4pm for drop-in visitors to look around St John's and meet current undergraduates. There will be an Admissions Desk and subject information stands in Hall where current undergraduates will be available to answer your questions and take visitors on tours of College (a selection of student rooms will be open for viewing). Open Days are the only chance to see student accommodation.

  7. We will be holding the final College Open Day for this year on Saturday 22nd September 2018.

  8. We will be holding a Medicine and Veterinary Medicine Taster Day for prospective undergraduate students on 25th September 2018.

  9. We will be holding a Taster Day for prospective undergraduate students who are interested in studying Language or Languages. At Cambridge, there are a range of language based courses available and as many of these as possible will be represented on the Taster Day. Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic Asian and Middle Eastern Studies Classical Tripos Linguistics Modern & Medieval Languages (including History & Modern Languages)

Then come along to our Natural Sciences day at St John's College on the 27th September to discover the Natural Sciences course at Cambridge with academics from across Biology, Physics, Biochemistry and beyond, including Earth Sciences, Pharmacology, Plant Sciences and Pathology.
